EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Selected for Contract to Provide Environmental/Ordnance Activities to the Pacific Ocean Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Hunt Valley, Maryland (12 July 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Environmental/Ordnance Activities at Various Locations within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pacific Ocean Division, Area of Responsibility (AOR). This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a shared capacity of $9.8 million to be executed amongst a pool of 4 small businesses. The contract has a 1-year base period and four, 1-year options for a maximum 5-year period of performance. The Procurement Contracting Office is the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville.

Under this contract, EA will perform Military Munitions Response Program responses involving conventional munitions, environmental compliance and remediation services, and other munitions-related services, as necessary, to enable lands and waters to be safely and efficiently used for their intended purposes. EA will be tasked to safely locate, identify, recover, evaluate, manage, and make final disposition of munitions and explosives of concern; munitions constituents; and hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste (HTRW) at various currently and formerly used defense sites, other federally controlled/owned sites, and sites in foreign jurisdictions. The primary service area is Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, Kwajalein Atoll, and the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. Work may also be completed in peripheral locations such as Japan, Korea, and Alaska.
