EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Awarded Contract with General Services Administration for Environmental Engineering and Design Services

Hunt Valley, Maryland (9 June 2015)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for environmental engineering and environmental design services by the General Services Administration (GSA).

Under this contract, EA will provide study and design work pertaining to all aspects of environmental compliance and remediation in GSA Mid-Atlantic, New England, and Northeast and Caribbean regions, which include the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. This IDIQ contract has a base term of 1 year and four subsequent 1-year option periods, for a total term of 5 years. The contract capacity is $7.5 million over the 5-year term.

The contract allows EA to perform a broad range of environmental and engineering services, such as conducting environmental compliance audits; performing field investigations and feasibility studies, including sampling and laboratory analyses; and preparing permit and report documents. The scope of work includes the development of the full array of required environmental compliance plans such as Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plans; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans; Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans; and Hazardous Waste Management Plans. EA will also be responsible for completing environmental engineering designs including plans, specifications, cost estimates, bid support, and construction management. The firm will also be called upon to provide specialized expertise and emergency support, as needed.
