EA Announces the Addition of Daniel Souders, CSP, to its Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health Practice
Hunt Valley, Maryland (15 July 2013)—
EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is pleased to announce its recent hiring of Daniel Souders, CSP,
who joins us in Hunt Valley as a Senior Safety and Health Specialist. In this role,
Dan brings to EA more than 30 years of experience in the area of workplace safety. Most recently, he owned and managed Chesapeake Safety Resources, Inc. and served as a safety and health consultant to industry as well as public sector clients. There, he developed and implemented safety management systems; conducted training in such areas as emergency response, confined space entry, respiratory protection, and ergonomics; and provided onsite safety management for construction projects.

A native of Maryland, Mr. Souders has had a distinguished career working in the Baltimore area for Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, Martin Marietta, and the Baltimore Sun. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park and is a Certified Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He has held numerous leadership positions in the American Society of Safety Engineers and Safety Council of Maryland, and is an active member of the Metropolitan Washington Area Construction Safety Association.
