EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. Establishes Blanket Purchase Agreement for Air Compliance Services at U.S. Air Force Installations

Hunt Valley, Maryland (28 September 2012)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has established a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)–Tulsa District to support the U.S. Air Force Air Quality Program. The BPA has a maximum value of $3.3 million, and has five successive 1-year performance periods.

Under this Agreement, EA will provide environmental services to comply with service requests, referred to as “Calls” under the BPA, which may include conducting air emissions inventories, updating risk management plans and sampling analysis/monitoring plans, opacity testing, performing vehicle inspections and maintenance management support, and providing other required technical assistance and training.

The U.S. Air Force Air Quality Program encompasses Major Commands, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command, and Direct Reporting Units at various locations. Its purpose is to provide responsive air quality environmental services to reduce potential environmental impacts and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, rules, orders, guidance, agreements, and policies. The Air Quality Program is part of an overall Environmental Quality Program that is centrally managed and funded by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE).

“It is with special pride that we announce this new Agreement because it is our second recent BPA with the Tulsa District that has been established through a competitive process,” said Fritz Meyer, EA’s Senior Vice President and Director of Client Programs. “With a strong national presence and 20 full-service offices, EA has the proven capacity to cost-effectively support USACE and AFCEE by delivering the highest level of air compliance services to Air Force installations.”
