EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. Awarded Environmental Engineering Contract by the National Guard Bureau
Hunt Valley, Maryland (27 June 2014)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for Environmental Engineering Professional and Technical Support Services (EEPTSS) by the National Guard Bureau (NGB). The contract has a base term of 1 year with two 1 year option periods, and has a maximum joint total acquisition value of $243 million to be executed among 10 contractors (7 large businesses and 3 small businesses) over the 3-year duration. EA is one of three small business environmental remediation services firms selected for the EEPTSS multiple award contract.
The EEPTSS contracts allow for a wide variety of environmental services to support the environmental mission of the Air National Guard and Army National Guard, including the Environmental Restoration Program, Environmental Quality Program, Environmental Planning Program, and Natural and Cultural Resources Program. Under this contract, individual task orders will be issued as firm-fixed price projects, and may be performance based. Work may be performed within the United States and surrounding territories.
“Having performed work at over 120 NGB installations, EA understands and supports NGB’s military and environmental mission,” said Brenda Herman, P.G., Vice President and EA’s Program Director for the contract. “We look forward to continuing to serve NGB providing high quality services, promoting a safe work environment, and being cost effective in both our planning and execution of projects.”
This is EA’s second prime contract with NGB. Through the first, a 10-year contract awarded in 2005, EA provided environmental services, including environmental assessments, environmental baseline surveys, operational range assessments, and integrated natural resource management plans, at installations across the United States.
